Job Title: Program Mgr. for Government Affair Management
Location: Wuhan
Job Description:
- Act as the portal for all government affairs of Synopsys Wuhan company. Establish and maintain the contacts and communication channels for all local government departments.
- Track, collect and analyze governmental policies in all levels related to the company business. Provide insight and foresight on key industry policy and regulatory developments as well as geopolitical issues that may impact Synopsys operations, business and strategies. Act as the key member in the formulation and implementation of Synopsys strategy locally.
- Understand Synopsys’ global and China business in depth and work closely with internal teams to effectively advocate company positions and interests, leverage necessary local government support to company daily operation and development and help resolve issues.
- Take lead for new initiatives & projects, from planning to execution, to leverage tangible and intangible government supports to benefit the development of the company.
- Organize internal and external resources for applications of government subsidies, business approvals, certificates and honors etc. and take the ownership to ensure the success of the applications.
- Work closely with Synopsys internal teams to coordinate external programs, seminars, exhibitions and communication events with various government stakeholders for company brand and reputation building.
- Bachelor degree required; Master degree preferred.
- 5+ years MNCs/or government experience.
- Deep knowledge of Chinese political and government structure and policy processes and procedures.
- Demonstrated success in building and navigating government relationships and managing complex matters and issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English and Chinese.
- Responsible and self-disciplined.
- Good team work player with ability to work collaboratively with team members across functions and geographies.
- Fast learner to swiftly form in-depth understanding of objectives; achieve results through concrete detail-oriented executions.
- Self-driven individual with ability to take initiative, exercise sound judgment, and make good decisions in the face of uncertainty.
- Strong advocacy, communication, presentation, and consensus-building skills.
- High competency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
