Validation Engineer

Role responsibilities:
Work with systems, design, applications and test teams to define a comprehensive validation plan for audio amplifier products during the product definition and development phases 
Define overall silicon validation plans and schedules for all silicon revisions through product release to production.  
Plan validation to “break” methodology to identify device potential marginalities. 
Identify and anticipate risks and bottlenecks from definition to production release. 
Be adaptable to support additional validation requests that arise during the debug and ramp-up phases without impacting overall project execution. 
Comprehend system-level and customer-driven use cases in validation plan to ensure a robust product release and production ramp. 
Design all hardware needed to complete the full product validation.  
Be actively engaged in continuous improvement to take validation of audio amplifiers to the next level.   
Proactively create and maintain validation plans and reports while executing the full validation and reliability testing of audio amplifier products. 
Collaborate with development team and failure analysis lab for any qualification failures and customer returns during the development phases. 
Participate in the long-term definition and evolution of the validation platform to take the validation of audio amplifier products to the next level.

Minimum requirements
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mixed signal validation and/or test 

Preferred qualifications:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
• Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
• Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
• Working well in a team environment is imperative in this role.
• Knowledge of mixed signal, ADC/DAC, signal processing
• Experience in LabVIEW and MATLAB
