Display Software Customer Engineer

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  

• Identifies customer problems and brings them to attention of manager and/or project leads.
• Shares customer input with others on team regarding modifications to Qualcomm solutions.
• Supports root cause analyses on basic customer problems to identify underlying issue.
• Assists customers with integrating Qualcomm software solutions.
• Supports the debugging of basic issues in customer software systems.

• Good knowledge of Display technology - frame buffer, overlay, framework, different display interfaces and technologies such as MIPI DSI, LVDS, HDMI, MHL, eDP.
• Authoring or debugging tools for Multimedia applications, familiar with Android display framework and Linux Kernel, experienced in resolving display related issues
• Self-starter with motivation and initiative
• Flexibility to learn and work on new Multimedia area.
• Experience of working on Qualcomm platforms is a plus
• Experience of working on Video area is a plus
• Experience with Qualcomm Android software and MSM chipsets is a plus

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

• 3+ years experience with debugging techniques.
• 3+ years experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
