Senior Engineer of Image Processing

Role & Responsibilities:
-      Execute the overall tuning execution plan including process establishment, tuning tool requirement/implementation and lab set-up.
-      Drive the activity of tuning process establishment and pre-silicon tuning and deliver an efficient tuning process
-      Contribute to tuning team capability grow up
-      Identify, resolve and track technical/non-technical issue related image quality, manage dependency, risk and drive the action taken.
-      Take the responsibility of delivering tuning result analysis report and progress report
-      Collaborate with cross team to assure the smooth support ISP/camera related event, including: bring-up, customer demo, customer visit, customer tuning.
-      Report, communicate or escalate the execution information and issue when necessary or asked.
 
Skills and Experience:
-      Master degree in EE/CS with at least 5 years’ experience, or Bachelor degree with at least 8 year experience in camera solution, tuning or similar industry.
-      A strong image science background with a focus on image processing
-      Demonstrable experience in industry at configuring fixed function pipelines
-      Experience in parameter optimization of complex processing pipelines
-      Visible and non-visible light sensor related experience
-      Thorough understanding of imaging pipelines and their limitations.
-      Familiar with C and Matlab and deep understanding of image quality metrics.
-      Understanding of image quality specification such as Skype/Lync or other industry initiatives is a plus.
-      Strong presentation skills. Experience on facing customer/partner and able to formulate convincing arguments to customers and to resolve tradeoffs related to image and video quality.
-      Capability of collaborate with other teams in both local and remote locations.
-      Problem solver, Self-motivated and driven with a great attention to detail.
-      Good written and oral English.
