Product Validation Engineer_ Custom Compiler

This is an individual contributor position reporting to the DG-AMS Custom Compiler Product Validation(PV) manager. This candidate will provide a PV individual contributor role in all the testing activities of the DG-AMS Business Unit Products, which encompass Layout manual and automatic Editing EDA tools. This includes defining the test strategy; project planning and the creation, execution and automation of test cases. The candidate will also be expected to play an active role in the maintenance and analysis of the suite of PV regression test environment. The candidate should be able to communicate clearly to work with peers from PV, Development, Application support and Marketing groups. The candidate is responsible for establishing personal timetables that supports the assigned project goals.
Requirement:
MSEE/ MSCE or comparable degree with 3+ years of related experience is required.
Familiarity with Analog/ASCI /Backend design is a strong plus
Fluent verbal and written communication skills are desired.
Good problem analysis skill is a strong plus.
Familiarity with popular EDA tool (simulation / layout editing, Place & Route, Physical Verification) is a plus.
Familiarity with Software development methodologies is a plus.
